ACTIon partners just met this week on 26-28 April at the premises of Action Synergy in Athens for a partner meeting to evaluate the country piloting results and to plan the upcoming national and international dissemination events to be organised in the coming months.

This was an occasion to host a policy workshop with the participation of policy and decision makers from the four piloting countries on 26 April. The workshop started with a summary of the project activities and results achieved so far by nexus, the ACTIon project coordinator.

Following this introduction, Goce Bumbaroski, Youth Officer, Municipality of Prilep (North Macedonia), Nina Asenova, Deputy Mayor, Veliki Preslav Municipality (Bulgaria), Ralitza Gerassimova, Senior Expert on Social Activities and Health Services, Municipality of Samokov (Bulgaria), Viky Georganta, Educational Advisor, Institute of Educational Policy and Vasiliki Iakeimidou, School Advisor, Hellenic Open University (Greece) presented the main focus of their policy work in terms of youth participation and social integration for potential connection with the objectives of the ACTIon project.

The ACTIon partners and invited policy and decision makers discussed the possibilities for mainstreaming of the results of the ACTIon project in policy making at local, regional, national or European level. And finally, Action Synergy moderated a workshop session where participants worked in country groups to brainstorm on the formulation of policy recommendations.

On 27-28 April, the partners continued with meetings to exchange progress in their project activities and discuss on the next steps. There was a special focus on the second phase of the piloting activities.
