ACTIon participated in a research project on the role of digitalisation in youth work and non-formal learning in the context of the European youth programmes (RAY-DIGI). The RAY network, with partners in 34 European countries with 29 languages, is engaged in a research-based analysis of European youth programmes. ACTIon is one of the approximately 75 projects that participated as a case study project.

In April 2023, two online focus group discussions were organised: the first with participation of ACTIon’s project teams from Bulgaria, Germany, Greece and North Macedonia (piloting partners who implemented DigiPAc or MOLA training programmes); and the second with youth and young adults (19 to 27 years old) from Bulgaria who had participated in a MOLA training and were activated as community leaders of OSF, Sofia).

The topics of discussion covered the digital dimension of ACTIon, educational settings, features and values of digital youth work and key factors of success. The analysis of the results and the report have not yet been finalised and published[1], however they will be uploaded to the RAY DIGI website after completion.
