Six youth organisations and six high schools started piloting the DigiPAC training programme at the local level in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. During November and December 2022, a series of workshops were held to encourage digital participation and active citizenship of young people, familiarising them with E-participation and practical use of OPIN tool.

More than 120 young people have so far learned about the ways of active citizenship, media literacy, correct behaviour on the Internet, “netiquette”, youth participation and digital youth participation.

OPIN gained 12 new initiators for E-participation activities. Various projects and initiatives by young people have been set up on OPIN, which are the beginning of active and democratic participation of young people.

ACTIon project partner in North Macedonia, Coalition SEGA provided mentoring support in the implementation of subsequent activities at the local level.
