The Erasmus+ project ACTIon is inviting secondary school teachers, youth workers, educators and other interested professionals to participate in  two 3-hour online capacity building webinars on issues related with the promotion of the concepts of active citizenship, civic education and digital participation in school and youth education.

The capacity building programme will be based on two modules developed by the project:

  • DigiPAC (Digital Participation and Active Citizenship): A training model that uses active approaches in order to develop the digital and democratic competences of young people and to enable them to use the online world to actively participate in their community and broader society.
  • MOLA (Model for Opinion Leaders’ Online Activation): A model of youth participation adapted from Cair’s Popular Opinion Leader (POL) model developed for HIV prevention. Through the implementation of this model, organisations and youth workers can: first empower popular Opinion Leaders (OLs) to become critically engaged consumers of online information and participate in digital media in wise, safe, and ethical ways and then, through the OLs’ social networks, change the attitudes and behaviors related to a specific topic within the targeted community as a whole.

Both training programs are available HERE.

The capacity building webinars will be organized on the following dates:

  • DigiPAC: Thursday, 12/10/2023, 16:00- 19:00 CET
  • MOLA: Friday, 13/10/2023, 16:00- 19:00 CET

You can register in one or both webinars, through the completion of the REGISTRATION FORM HERE.

The webinars will be organized through Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to registered participants 2 days before the date of the workshop.

ACTIon project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union in the framework of the Key Action 3- Policy Innovation projects.
