The consortium of ACTIon project has organised an online policy event in order to allow the coordinators of different Erasmus+ projects that were approved in the framework of the same call for proposals (KA3 Social Inclusion) to share experiences and insights related with the development of policy recommendations.

In the event, there were represented more than 25 projects covering different topics and different target groups, from primary school students to juvenile inmates. The project coordinators that joined the event came from 14 different countries.

After the introduction of each participant, the project coordinator presented the main results and achievements of the ACTIon project. This was followed by the presentation of the ACTIon policy recommendations as they were compiled in the framework of the Final Workshop in Zagreb. At the same time, the process of the formulation of policy recommendations was explained to the participants.

In the next phase of the event, the participants were divided into 4 break-out rooms. In these rooms, they had the chance to discuss how they worked on their policy recommendations, what they have achieved and what was challenging. The participants were also asked to briefly present the results of their project and the recommendations produced as part of their project.

The event was a unique opportunity for project coordinators to come together and discuss their results and approaches. They were able to share approaches to contact policy makers as well as challenges related with ensuring the impact of the recommendations.
