From 2022 European Year of Youth to 2023 European Year of Skills, one of the top priorities of the EU is to empower young people with necessary skills for a greener, more inclusive and digital future. The ACTIon project not only touches this priority, but also complements it by supporting young people to use digital tools for active participation.

ACTIon project partner ALL DIGITAL supports this cause with one of its flagship initiatives ALL DIGITAL Weeks, an annual digital inclusion and empowerment campaign run at digital competence centres, libraries, community centres, schools and other venues across Europe. ALL DIGITAL Weeks encourages various activities to support the Europeans who do not have enough digital skills to participate fully in the society and benefit from digital transformation.

This year’s campaign will happen during three weeks from 17 April to 7 May with the theme of “Enhance Your Digital Skills”. All stakeholders are invited to get involved in the campaign by organising an event and adding them on the event map.

The main themes of this year are:

  • Digital Skills for “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion’’ – from basic to advanced
  • DigComp and Digital Skills Certifications
  • Digital media literacy and culture
  • Cybersecurity and safer internet
  • Digital Skills for Environment and Sustainability
  • Digital Skills for specific sectors
