Our opinion leaders are already in Action!
During the last month, HESED has piloted the Model for Opinion Leaders Activation (MOLA). 12 young mothers from Fakulteta neighborhood, Sofia have attended our five modular training, and acquired different skills for searching for information online, recognizing fake news and forming critical thinking regarding information and news on social media, and online storytelling.
Young opinion leaders passed a community activation program to improve the care of young children (0-3 years), preparing to become a role model for their peers and actively participated in the training, attending the sessions together with their children. At the end of the training, the young leaders chose to make short videos on the topics: clean water for the children of the Fakulteta and follow-up of pregnancy. With the help of their facilitators, young opinion leaders planned their online community activation campaigns, and we already have the first publications on the topic.
