On 18 and 19 June in Targovishte our Bulgarian partner Open Space Foundation (OSF) conducted a pilot training course for leaders of public opinion. They tested one of the two educational programmes developed by ACTIon – the Model for Opinion Leaders’ Online Activation (MOLA). A key aspect of this model is to identify and educate the so-called “Leaders of opinion“ – popular and liked members of society who later influence the behaviour and attitudes of other members of their group, and this way, change the
social norms in their society as a whole. MOLA was developed by our partner HESED with the idea that the leaders can influence the behaviour and attitude of their peers online. The program will also be piloted in the town of Veliki Preslav later on in August. At the end of September, it will be presented it in Shumen and Tragovishte regions.
