ACTIon project was presented during the YES Forum in Brussels on 26-27th October to an audience of professionals from the youth and social work fields, young people and policymakers. The Forum offered an opportunity to share views, ideas and aspirations for a more inclusive and participatory Europe. The focus was on the services, offers and projects of youth social work throughout Europe. The Forum highlighted the importance of the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan with exchanges on how to ensure its effectiveness and better implementation at the national and local level.

Victoria Sanz, Communication Officer at ALL DIGITAL presented the ACTIon project with specific focus on its ambition to promote active citizenship through civic education and active online participation of youth role models. The discussions brought forward the project’s link with the Chapter 1 of the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan. A specific reference was made to principle 1 as the project supports young people to acquire skills that enable them to participate fully in society and principle 3 as the project fosters equal opportunities for under-represented groups.
